FlexAmerica allows and encourages the use of direct deposit. Participants
who send in a direct
deposit form will have their claims processed as normal. Each
Thursday, a claims remittance notice will be mailed to the claimant. The funds will become available to the participant
between Friday night and Monday.
Employers participating in the option will have the funds electronically
transferred from their account to the participant's. Employers using this funding option should have the funds
more readily available for the transaction since there is no float on the transfered monies.
