FlexAmerica is proud to offer the mbi Flex Convenience Card® to all employers and reduce our already great turn-around time. Your employer has to elect this option for all employees.


How the Card Works

The MasterCard® is tied to our claim processing system.

Non-Qualified merchants, for example an auto shop, are denied in the system

Employees swipe their card at qualified merchants for eligible services and products and the money is deducted from their flex account balance, just as they would with a normal credit or debit card.

Our claims system is synchronized with the point of service transactions so no duplicate claims are paid.

Claims payments are withdrawn from the designated checking account.



Administrative Notes

Participating employers must establish a separate claims checking account to facilitate the claim payment processing.

Employers can choose what merchants you want to exclude.

Participants must still fax claim receipts to our office for non co-pay expneses so we can validate the claims incurred.
